What skills are we looking for?

As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions while also ensuring the smooth administration and operation of SharePoint Responsibilities :


1. Design, develop, customize, and implement SharePoint solutions, including sites, lists, libraries, workflows, forms, and web parts, to meet business requirements.


2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose effective SharePoint solutions.

3. Develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using tools such as SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

4. Implement SharePoint branding and customization using master pages, page layouts, CSS, and JavaScript.

5. Ensure SharePoint solutions adhere to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

6. Administer SharePoint environments, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint servers, farms, services, and features.

7. Manage SharePoint permissions, user access, and security settings to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

8. Monitor SharePoint performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance optimization measures.

9. Configure and manage SharePoint search, metadata, content types, and enterprise features.

10. Implement backup and recovery strategies for SharePoint data and configurations.

11. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT administrators, and developers, to support SharePoint initiatives and resolve technical issues.

12. Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for SharePoint solutions and features.

Key Skill Sets :

1. Should have worked on Sharepoint On-prem (SP 2019) building custom apps, integrations and workflows

2. Good experience in PowerShell

3. Overall understanding of Sharepoint configuration, administration and support for both On-Prem & Online versions.

4. Knowledge of Sharepoint migration services

5. Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

Optional Skill Sets :

Experience with the following concepts is considered advantageous :

1. Knowledge of SharePoint REST API and CSOM

2. Knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps

3. Knowledge of SharePoint Governance and Best Practices

Qualification Criteria and Skills :

1. Proven experience in SharePoint development, customization, and administration.

2. Proficiency in SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Server, SharePoint Online (Office 365), SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

3. Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, services, and capabilities.

4. Experience with SharePoint migration, upgrade, and integration with third-party systems.

5. Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET.

6. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

8. Evidence of relevant experience. SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator) are a plus.

9. Graduation/Post Graduation in Computer Science or any relevant degree.

10. Industry recognized relevant certifications - added advantage.
