The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.


1. Managing the development and execution of system requirements for vehicle

DMU/Powertrain & peripheral systems. Hands on experience of PROE/Windchil is must.


2. Designing, developing and preparing drawings for active/passive mounts, driveline parts (CAE,

Drawings, SAP etc.) at system, sub-system and vehicle level.


3.Benchmarking, organizing proto development and testing development of accessories, parts

development from SOR creation, testing to quality support


4. Leading the design review and DFMEA/DFM/DFA/DFS review of components for ongoing

project and optimize the designs accordingly.


5. Adhering to the principle of concurrent engineering by involving CFT, during the design

process to shorten development time and minimize occurrence of problems at later stage.

Incorporate all design and process change in the drawings.


6. Preparing testing plans (generate a preliminary test plan) for all systems/ sub systems and

components covering test objectives, test parameters, types of testing for PWT/peripheralparts, etc. by incorporating feedback from reviews and from testing feedback (including test

data collection, analysis and incorporation)


7. Working as per design methodology and as per requirements of the development process (E.g

TS 16949) as adopted by the company and also as per company requirements and procedures

(SAP)



8. Adhering to time targets and inform the Department Head, if any delay is anticipated in the

assigned project targets.


9. Taking initiatives and imbibing new trends, technology and implementation for automotive parts.

Resolving quality/warranty issues that includes both predictive (during development) and

reactive (Post Launch) for all PWT & peripheral parts

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Organized
