ChabezTech LLC is seeking a highly skilled and innovative Platform Lead Engineer to drive intelligent infrastructure analytics and platform tooling. This is a high-impact engineering role, designed for a true builder and architect who thrives on solving complex infrastructure problems with advanced Python programming, cloud-native architectures, and robust observability tools. We are looking for an individual who can design and implement systems that extract deep, actionable insights from diverse infrastructure configurations and telemetry data, ultimately mapping API ownership and ensuring operational health across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and lead the implementation of sophisticated systems for intelligent infrastructure analytics, moving beyond traditional monitoring.

- Engineer solutions that extract deep insights from critical infrastructure configurations, including certificates, DNS records, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), deployment pipelines, and Git repositories.

- Leverage telemetry data to derive meaningful operational health metrics and uncover hidden patterns and dependencies within the infrastructure.

- Develop and maintain automated mechanisms to accurately map API ownership and assess the operational health of various services.

- Drive the continuous development and enhancement of platform tooling, focusing on automation, efficiency, and scalability.

- Utilize advanced Python programming to build robust, maintainable, and high-performance analytical and automation solutions.

- Architect and implement solutions leveraging cloud-native principles and services across major cloud providers.

- Apply expertise in observability tools, with a strong emphasis on Splunk, to collect, analyze, and visualize infrastructure and application data.

- Lead technical initiatives, provide architectural guidance, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

- Focus on proactive problem identification and resolution through systemic improvements, rather than reactive support.

- Shape the future of how modern infrastructure platforms operate, contributing strategic vision and hands-on execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related platform engineering role, with a significant portion in a lead capacity.

- DevOps/SRE Expertise : Strong background in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.

- Python Proficiency : Expert-level proficiency in Python for complex system design, automation, data processing, and analytical tool development.

- Cloud-Native Architectures : Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing applications and infrastructure using cloud-native architectures on major cloud platforms.

- Observability Tools : Hands-on experience with observability platforms and tools, with demonstrated expertise in Splunk for logging, monitoring, and analytics.

- Infrastructure Knowledge : Deep understanding of critical infrastructure components and configurations, including certificates, DNS, Web Application Firewalls, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.

- Problem-Solving : Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex, ambiguous technical problems with innovative solutions.

- System Design : Strong skills in system design and architecture, capable of building resilient, scalable, and secure platforms.

- Data Analysis : Experience working with large datasets, particularly telemetry and configuration data, to extract actionable insights.
