Job Title : Murex Functional Tester

Job Summary :

The Murex Functional Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Murex implementations and upgrades.

Experience in Front-to-back Testing experience with Automation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in functional testing within the Murex environment and a strong understanding of financial markets and products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct functional testing of Murex implementations and upgrades to ensure system integrity and performance.

- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.

- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Perform regression testing to validate that new changes have not adversely affected existing functionality.

- Participate in test planning, test strategy, and test execution phases of the software development lifecycle.

- Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting test progress, issues, and risks.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout the testing process.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing within the Murex environment.

- Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and trading systems.

- Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
