Information Technology System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator with strong expertise inLinux, macOS, and Windows environments.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with server management, network administration, firewall security, and both hardware and software troubleshooting. This role will be critical in ensuring the security, stability, and performance of our IT infrastructure across platforms.Experience : 4-10 yrsKey Responsibilities: Manage and maintain Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), macOS, and Windows-based systems. Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot servers (physical and virtual) across platforms. Oversee network infrastructure, including routing, switching, VPN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi access points. Implement and manage firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols. Handle hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and servers. Manage user accounts, permissions, and policies via Active Directory and LDAP. Provide Tier 2/3 support and escalate issues as necessary.Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4-10 years of experience in a System Administrator or similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Linux (server and desktop). Solid understanding of macOS and Windows OS administration. In-depth knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN). Experience with firewall configuration and management (e.g., pfSense, Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Ubiquiti).
