Job Title : Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Responsibilities :

- Strong understanding of computer science principles and design patterns.

- 6+ years of experience dedicated to backend development for large-scale systems.

- Worked in a distributed systems or microservice architecture, handling complex system integrations and scalability challenges.

- Expertise in Typescript

- Proficient in Node.js or Golang

- Experience with React, Redux and React hooks

- Experience with databases like Experience with AWS/GCP and technologies like API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3 Plus on RDS, ECS, EKS

- Willing to be on-call on a rotational basis

- Ability to write & assess clean, functional, high-quality, and testable code for each of our projects.

- Experience in designing and implementing subscription-based models including billing cycles, recurring payments, and churn analysis on a large scale.

- Build features based on tech requirements provided.

- Self-managing and efficiently taking projects to completion.

- Positive and proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and communication skills.

- Enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and are motivated to contribute to the success of the team.

Must-Have :

- Proficiency with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3, ECS, SQS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, Step Functions)

Proficiency with :

Payments : Typescript / Node.js, PHP

Subscriptions : Typescript / Node. js, Golang, React

All : Mac OS, VS Code, GIT, Serverless framework

- Proficiency in building RESTful services and API and following best coding practices

- Experience with databases (MySQL/PostgresDB/MariaDB/RDS & DynamoDB)

Subscriptions : DB migration tools such as Flyway

- Experience building scalable and resilient cloud services

- Experience working with observability tools like Datadog

- Ability to work independently on projects with little supervision

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
