Job Title : .NET Developer (2 to 5 Years Experience)Location : Chennai Join By : September 12th (Immediate Joiners Preferred)Interview Process : Single Round InterviewAbout the Role :We are looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Developer with 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining applications using legacy versions of the .NET framework. This is a critical role requiring immediate onboarding to support ongoing enterprise-grade projects. You will work onsite at our Perungalathur, Chennai office, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of project components.Key Responsibilities :- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications built on older .NET framework versions (2.0 to 4.5).- Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle : requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.- Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business needs.- Debug and troubleshoot issues in legacy codebases, ensuring optimal application performance and responsiveness.- Follow coding standards, best practices, and ensure high code quality through peer reviews and unit testing.- Support deployment activities and provide immediate post-deployment stabilization and support.- Work independently with minimal supervision and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.Required Skills & Experience :- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in .NET development.- Strong expertise with legacy versions of the .NET Framework (2.0 to 4.5).- Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, and either Windows Forms or Web Forms development.- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software design principles.- Experience in working with SQL Server, including writing complex stored procedures, triggers, and optimizing database performance.- Familiarity with version control systems like TFS or SVN.- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.Nice to Have :- Experience with migration projects involving upgrading from older .NET frameworks to newer platforms.- Exposure to DevOps practices and deployment automation tools.Additional Information :- Interview slots are available.- Immediate joiners preferred.- Single round interview process to expedite hiring.- Candidate must be available to join by September 12th (ref:hirist.tech)
