Job Description:

Lead the design, implementation, and management of Cisco Umbrella network security solutions and related products, including Cisco NSE (Network Security Everywhere), Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), VPN solutions, WAN links, LAN management, load balancers (such as F5), and other security vendors' products.

2. Architect and deploy comprehensive network security infrastructures, integrating Cisco Umbrella and related technologies to protect against cyber threats, malware, and unauthorized access.

3. Configure and optimize security policies, rules, and configurations across diverse network environments, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Monitor and analyze network traffic, security events, and incidents using a combination of Cisco Umbrella dashboards, SIEM systems, and other security tools to detect and respond to security threats.

5. Implement and manage VPN solutions for secure remote access, utilizing technologies such as IPsec, SSL VPN, and AnyConnect to provide secure connectivity for remote users and branch offices.

6. Design and manage WAN links, optimizing network performance, reliability, and availability, and implementing QoS (Quality of Service) mechanisms to prioritize critical traffic.

7. Configure and troubleshoot LAN environments, including switches, routers, VLANs, and layer 2 protocols such as STP, VLAN Trunking, and EtherChannel, to ensure seamless connectivity and security.

8. Implement and manage load balancers (e.g., F5 BIG-IP) to distribute network traffic, enhance application availability, and mitigate DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts, to align security initiatives with business objectives and IT infrastructure requirements.

10. Leverage Microsoft Azure services and security controls to enhance network security posture and resilience, including Azure networking, virtual machines, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center.

11. Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques, and leverage threat intelligence feeds and security advisories to enhance network security posture and incident response capabilities.

12. Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior staff members and cross-functional teams on network security best practices, technologies, and methodologies.
