Job Summary: The Finance Executive for UK and Europe Recruitment is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on managing financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance specifically tailored to our recruitment activities in the UK and Europe. This role involves overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting related to recruitment expenditures, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage financial models and budgets specifically tailored to recruitment activities in the UK and Europe.
  2. Analyze recruitment financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management, helping optimize recruitment strategies and expenditures.
  3. Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including but not limited to recruitment costs, ROI analysis, and budget variances.
  4. Monitor and control recruitment-related expenses to ensure they are within budgetary limits and aligned with business objectives.
  5. Work closely with recruitment teams to track and manage recruitment-related costs, including advertising, agency fees, travel expenses, and candidate-related expenses.
  6. Coordinate with finance teams in different regions to ensure consistency in financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Collaborate with HR and recruitment leaders to develop financial metrics and KPIs to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and efficiency.
  8. Assist in the development of recruitment-related business cases and financial justifications for new initiatives, investments, or expansion plans.
  9. Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and provide decision support to recruitment and HR teams as needed.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in recruitment finance and share insights with relevant stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.
  2. Proven experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably within a recruitment or HR context.
  3. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  4. Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel, with experience using finance and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information effectively.
  6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  7. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Knowledge of UK and European financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to recruitment activities.
  9. Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights to support recruitment and business decision-making.
  10. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
