Cloud Data Solution Architect:

We're seeking a Cloud Data Platform Solution Architect with a track record of success in crafting and implementing cutting-edge solutions across various data-focused domains.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data-Focused Expertise: Leverage your 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, big data, data lake/lake house architectures, and data streaming to drive transformative projects.
  • AWS Enterprise Implementations: Bring your expertise in AWS services to the table, with exposure to native, serverless, and managed services, ensuring optimal implementation tailored to enterprise needs.
  • Technology Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in data storage, processing, and analytics technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, AWS DynamoDB, and AWS S3, facilitating robust and scalable solutions.
  • End-to-End Project Lifecycle: Lead and contribute to the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-delivery activities, ensuring seamless execution and continuous optimization.
  • Architecture and Governance: Utilize your background in architecture and governance to steer enterprise data projects, emphasizing the importance of architecture in driving successful outcomes.
  • Research and Development: Lead and contribute to research and development tasks, including evaluations and proof-of-concept work, fostering innovation and pushing boundaries.
  • Cloud Migration Expertise: Showcase your experience in migrating on-premise data solutions to the cloud, with a focus on re-architecting for enhanced performance and scalability.
  • Data Privacy and Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy, governance, and security principles, implementing cloud best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Business Alignment: Analyze business objectives and requirements with precision, aligning data solutions to organizational goals and driving tangible business value.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive Contribution: Be a driven, energetic, and proactive individual, consistently seeking opportunities to add value across all areas of responsibility.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience (7+ years) in data engineering roles, with a focus on enterprise implementations.
  • Proficiency in AWS services and cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data storage, processing, and analytics technologies.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end project lifecycles.
  • Background in architecture, governance, and cloud migration.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, governance, and security principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive and driven approach to problem-solving and value creation.
