Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Geospatial Engineer to join our growing team. This position will be instrumental in working alongside our drone development and sensor fusion teams to enhance geospatial data accuracy and integrity. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in geospatial and surveying technologies, with a keen eye for innovation and quality.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the drone development team to integrate and test new geospatial technologies within UAV systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing of drones, GPS, cameras, and LiDAR sensors to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work closely with the sensor fusion team to optimize data collection and processing techniques.
  • Analyze spatial data using GIS software and contribute to the development of mapping solutions.
  • Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory standards during field operations.
  • Document technical procedures and project findings for review and future referencing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Engineering, Remote Sensing, or related field, with a preference for graduates from Anna University, NITs, or IITs.
  • Understanding in operating drones and managing UAV systems.
  • Proficient with LiDAR and other remote sensing technologies.
  • Strong understanding of GIS software for spatial data analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and precision in data handling.
  • Ability to work effectively in team settings and under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
