Snowflake Admin - CREQ Description We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Configuration and Optimization Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake's architecture, security, and performance optimization. This role is crucial in ensuring our Snowflake environment is configured for optimal performance, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations. Additionally, the consultant will assist with data migration, integration, and provide training and comprehensive ResponsibilitiesConfiguration and Optimization
Configure Snowflake settings for optimal performance.Implement query performance tuning.
Optimize storage and compute resources to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Security and Compliance
Implement security best practices for SnowflakeConfigure user roles and permissions to ensure secure compliance with relevant regulations and Migration and IntegrationAssist in migrating data to Snowflake, ensuring minimal downtime.
Set up data integration pipelines to facilitate seamless data flowEnsure data accuracy and integrity during the migration process Training and Documentation Conduct training sessions for the client s team to ensure they are proficient in using and managing Snowflake Provide comprehensive documentation on Snowflake administration covering all configurations and optimizations made.Conduct assessments and provide detailed recommendations for Snowflake environmentsDevelop and deliver key deliverables, including:Assessment ReportConfiguration and Optimization PlanSecurity and Compliance PlanMigration and Integration PlanTraining MaterialsFinal Report and Recommendations.Ongoing SupportProvide access to existing Snowflake environments and relevant data for continuous improvement
Participate in meetings and training sessions with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
Implement recommended changes and configurations as needed.
Ensure the availability of necessary resources for successful Snowflake operations.
