Job Description

Job Title: Java Developer - Spring Boot Specialist


Location: Bangalore, India


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

- Implement and manage cloud-based solutions using AWS services like Lambda, Cloud Watch, and S3.

- Utilize tools such as Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Sonar Cube, and Jenkins for development and deployment.

- Design and develop RESTful services and integrate with front-end applications.

- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability through continuous integration, testing, and deployment practices.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.

- Document and maintain software functionality.


Essential Experience:

- A minimum of 7 years of overall software development experience.

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Java 8, Junit, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.

- Minimum of 6 months experience working with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, Cloud Watch, and S3.

- Proficiency in Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Sonar Cube, Jenkins, GIT, and Postman.

- Strong knowledge of databases such as AWS DynamoDB, SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

- Work as per UK work hours i.e. 1:30 pm IST to 10:30 pm IST


Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
