Description : Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) :Must-Have : - Experience in IBM MQ product installation, upgrades, maintenance, configurations and troubleshooting.- Expertise in administrating, alert setup and monitoring the message process using tools like MQ explorer, Omegamon for MQ and TEPS.- Design the MQ architecture pattern for the message processing flow as per the new application requirement- Defining the MQ objects queues, channel, process definition, Topic, etc .- Skilled at executing IBM MQ utilities to handle the MQ queue messages(backup, deleting a particular records Good understanding of messaging interfaces and connections to the IBM other products (such as CICS, DB2, IMS..) and third party application servers.- Perform MQ online monitoring, investigate MQ CPU usage using SMF statistics analyze- Nice to have knowledge with MQSeries and MQClients on distributed platforms.- Nice to have knowledge Mainrame zOS, JCL, VSAM, ISPF and COBOL.- IBM and ISV Vendor Coordination for Ticketing Incidents/Problems, SW downloads, Escalations (ref:hirist.tech)
