Job Title: Senior SQL DeveloperWork Location: Kochi, IndiaDesired Skills & Competencies:Who You AreThe Senior SQL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and high-performing SQL databases and applications. This role involves ensuring the optimal performance, security, and integrity of database systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.You will have:- At least 8 years of experience in SQL development - Proven experience in working with MS SQL Server - Expertise in writing & optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.What You Will Do- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL databases, including schema design, table structures, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. - Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for performance, efficiency, and data retrieval. - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across multiple database environments. - Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning strategies. - Collaborate with Architects, Business analysts and other developers to understand data requirements and implement appropriate database solutions. - Review database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions and strategies. - Conduct code reviews, enforce database standards, and ensure adherence to best practices. - Provide technical guidance and support to developers and support team. - Stay updated with new database technologies and trends and recommend improvements.About Unity InfotechUnity Infotech (www.unityinfotech.com) is a leading financial technology firm providing core expertise in banking and financial services.
