Sr Admin AD & Azure AD - Night Shift -Remote

What you will do:

• Lead SME for Global services with a primary focus in Microsoft’s AD and Azure AD
• Develop and oversee successful execution of strategic roadmap for Microsoft AD & Azure AD maintaining global, business, and technology alignment as user requirements and product capabilities evolve
• Serves as the principal Active Directory SME
• Leads all phases of active directory and daily operations
• Develops solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
• Conducts root cause analysis to identify, diagnose, and resolve active directory problems Orchestrates maintenance to support active directory activities to all system users
• Configures, tests, and maintains active directory equipment’s and related services
• Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for all implemented active directory activities
• Resolves interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms including email, file transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing, authentication, and the like.
• Configures systems to user requirements.
• Supports the acquisition of hardware and software as well as the operations and maintenance of the hardware and software on the servers
• Support implementation plans of new configurations for insertion and integration
• May administer active directory security and/or maintain active directory security appliances.
• Works with vendors to evaluate new products and resolve equipment design problems.
• Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced active directory engineers and other technical staff.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
• Participates in routine meetings and special projects as required.
• Mantain, Troubleshoot, Migrate/Upgrade AzureAD Connect
• Maintain and troubleshoot an Active Directory Tiering setup (Red Forest / Microsoft ESAE)
• Interface with Microsoft for Tier 3 support

Extensive use PowerShell to fulfill automation tasks

What you will bring:

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer related field with preferred 15+ years of experience as an SME for end user platforms in a large global organization
• Strong ability to think strategically with a centered theme of the end user experience across multiple geographies and business units
• Initiative to define and oversee implementation of a new solution. Starting from the business problem, deriving necessary architecture or platform changes, define successful outcomes, and lead execution and change management
• Customer oriented mindset to execute with business awareness for prioritization of projects, tasks, and incident resolution to meet expectations with minimal user impact
• Extensive experience deploying AzureAD Connect, from installing from scratch to maintaining and upgrading the product
• Knowledge of Active Directory Tiering setup
• Experience using PAM solutions
• Maintain knowledge of Microsoft’s features, business requirements, and execute to a roadmap that leads ESAB proactively through enabling change (feature set management and implementation)
• Experience with implementation of Microsoft’s suite of products.
• Focus of user consolidation (M&A related)
• Adept in working with Microsoft support for user or major incident management
• Ability to shift from strategic to tactical level as required
• Experience with cloud hosted applications
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or the current highest level of MS certification for Active Directory
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Services (IIS, DNS/DHCP, WINS).
• In-depth understanding of Active Directory delegation and security models
• Experience managing production Windows Servers used to support multiple mission critical initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Technologies
• Ability to configure and manage all aspects of MS Active Directory
• Must possess a solid understanding and experience of and with Active Directory
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating platforms and office applications.
• Design, maintain, and manage Domain/Forest trusts. Design, maintain, manage, and monitor Directory/Forest/Domain replication.
• Develop and maintain Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO), accounts, and security groups.

Must be willing to work On-Call overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary.
