Join usJob PurposeWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in India, supporting our Singapore based clients. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. This is an excellent opportunity offering professional development within an international finance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Journal Entry Support- Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts - Help ensure timely and accurate financial data entry and reportingFinancial Reporting & Reconciliations- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements - Support bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction tracking - Prepare financial reports and documentation as requestedAccounts Payable/Receivable & Closing Support- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes - Collaborate with the Singapore team team to support closing activitiesAudit & Compliance Support- Support senior accountants in audits and compliance activitiesRequired Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or shared services environment - Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions - Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines - Willingness to work across time zones and collaborate with remote teamsPerformance Metrics- Timeliness and accuracy of journal entries and reconciliations - Completion of financial statements with minimal revisions - Responsiveness and support to the Cayman team during close periods - Quality and accuracy of audit support and documentation - Adherence to deadlines and quality standards in AP/AR processing - Demonstrated professional development and collaboration in a remote environment
