Network engineer is responsible for availability, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning on SASE- Prisma , Iboss , Fortiproxies and Cisco Switches/routers, Arista switches, Cisco ASA, Fortigates, Palo Alto, etc


Seeking a talented and experienced senior engineer for SASE Architect/Engineer. This position is a hybrid role. The candidate must have several years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting Palo Alto Prisma Access solutions, or Netskope SASE solutions.

Job Profile


As a Senior Level SASE Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SASE solutions at ADP. Your expertise in SASE cloud security platforms will be critical in guiding ADP through their digital transformation journey, enhancing their security posture, and enabling secure and seamless remote access for their workforce. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with industry best practices and meet our unique cybersecurity needs.


This role would be a team player who will be in the network Engineering for the ongoing implementations and production systems for both internal ADP Users and Client Users. As a Specialist, should have the ability to multi-task while working under pressure and is expected to be flexible to provide after hours support on need basis to work in regular rotational shifts. This role requires frequently interfacing with functional and project teams and ensures clients experience World Class Service when engaged.


Responsibilities:


  • Work on design and architecture of SASE solutions for ADP, taking into consideration their business requirements, security objectives, and existing technology landscape.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of ADP current network and security infrastructure to determine the most effective integration of SASE solutions.
  • Collaborate with ADP internal teams to understand their security challenges and develop tailored strategies for implementing SASE solutions in line with their objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on security best practices and help ADP teams optimize their usage of the platform to achieve maximum security and performance benefits.
  • Assist ADP in configuring and deploying SASE services, including Web Security, Cloud Firewall, Private Access, and Data Loss Prevention, among others.
  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting and issue resolution related to SASE deployments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to clients’ operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and advancements in SASE technology to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide training/knowledge transfer to the client’s engineering/support team.





Preferred Qualifications


  • 7 – 9 years of Experience & Competent to independently work on the most complex analyses and systems along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and managing SASE solutions including hands-on experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access cloud security platform
  • Previous experience as a Network Engineer and hands on configuration knowledge of Cisco Switches/routers, Arista switches, Cisco ASA, Fortigates, Palo Alto, etc
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools like spectrum, thousand eyes, Dynatrace etc
  • Understanding of BGP, OSPF, routing and switching protocols.
  • Expertise with Webtier Engineering which includes F5 load balancers or any other load balancers is plus
  • Should be able to lead calls with Vendors and Service providers and get work done as per business requirement.
  • Understanding troubleshooting experience on VPNs.
  • Should participate in Incident calls and troubleshoot problems and incidents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to work in a rotational shift (Working on weekends as needed is a must)
  • Certifications such as CCNA, etc are preferred.
  • Experience creating architecture context diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks & drive them independently.
  • Good written and oral communication.
  • Experience working with AWS or other Cloud platforms
