Job Title: Director - Academics

Location: AAFT, Noida

Job Overview:

The Campus Director at AAFT, Noida will provide visionary leadership and operational management for the institution. This role is responsible for overseeing all academic, administrative, and student affairs functions to ensure the successful execution of the institution's mission. The Campus Director will foster a collaborative environment, develop and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance the campus’s growth, reputation, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership & Vision:
  • Develop and implement strategic goals in alignment with the institution's vision and mission.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance academic programs, student success, and campus culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement in academic quality, research, and student outcomes.
  1. Academic Oversight:
  • Work closely with department heads and deans to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Oversee curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes (e.g., NAAC).
  • Encourage faculty development, research initiatives, and innovation in educational practices.
  1. Administrative & Operational Management:
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day campus operations, including budgeting, staffing, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with HR to oversee faculty and staff recruitment, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
  1. Student Affairs & Campus Life:
  • Promote student engagement, diversity, and inclusiveness on campus.
  • Address student concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  1. Financial Management & Resource Allocation:
  • Develop and manage the campus budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Oversee financial operations and ensure transparency in all financial dealings.
  1. Compliance & Accreditation:
  • Ensure that the campus complies with all national and international educational standards, including NAAC, AICTE, UGC, and other relevant bodies.
  • Oversee the preparation of accreditation documentation and audits as required.
  1. Campus Safety & Infrastructure:
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment for students and staff.
  • Oversee campus infrastructure development, maintenance, and expansion efforts.
  • Implement safety policies and crisis management plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Master’s or PhD in a relevant field (Education, Management, or related discipline).
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in academic leadership, preferably in media, arts, or creative industries.
  • Proven track record of managing a higher education institution or a large academic department.
  • Strong understanding of academic processes, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in media, arts, or creative industries will be an advantage.
  • Strong network with industry professionals and academic bodies.
  • Experience with digital transformation and modern educational technologies.
