Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using Python- Build and integrate backend components and services for web and mobile platforms- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability- Collaborate with frontend, data engineering, and DevOps teams for seamless integration- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code- Troubleshoot issues across dev/staging/production environments- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussionsRequired Skills : - Strong proficiency in Python and one web framework (Flask, FastAPI, or Django)- Experience with RESTful API development and consumption- Understanding of API authentication (OAuth2, JWT), design principles, and rate limiting- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)- Familiarity with Git and version control- Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, and deployment on cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Agile development experience and task ownershipNice-to-Have : - Experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio, etc.)- Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)- Exposure to Microservices architecture- Basic familiarity with Data Engineering or ML pipelines (ref:hirist.tech)
