The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for generating actionable investment ideas, conducting deep fundamental research, and supporting portfolio managers in building and monitoring equity portfolios. The role demands strong analytical ability, deep understanding of business and financial models, and a proven track record of generating research insights.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed fundamental analysis of listed companies across sectors, focusing on financial performance, business models, valuation, and management quality.- Prepare comprehensive research reports, investment theses, and financial models to support recommendations.- Track portfolio companies and monitor key operational and financial metrics to identify upside or risk triggers.- Identify emerging themes, sectoral shifts, and macro developments that may influence portfolio strategy.- Interact with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts for deeper insights.- Collaborate with the portfolio manager to structure and rebalance portfolios consistent with our investment philosophy.- Maintain research databases, sector trackers, and valuation comp sheets for continuous performance monitoring.
