Role Overview : We are looking for skilled and motivated System Engineers to join our team in Pune and Mumbai.The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of telecom domain systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and hands-on expertise in network implementation, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities : - Install, configure, and maintain telecom systems, applications, and databases.- Perform patch installations, firmware upgrades, and system optimizations.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PCRF, packet core, mediation, billing, rating & charging, provisioning, and CRM systems.- Implement and support network solutions including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and AAA systems.- Work with technologies such as Apache, Cisco, Tomcat, Linux, Solaris, Oracle, JavaScript, and JSP.- Monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support telecom operations and customer requirements.- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and operational manuals.Required Skills & Experience : - Telecom Domain Knowledge : Strong understanding of PCRF, packet core, mediation, billing, CRM, provisioning, and charging systems.- Technical Skills : Hands-on experience with Apache, Cisco, Tomcat, Linux, Solaris, Oracle, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Radius, Diameter, and AAA.- Scripting/Programming : Basic knowledge of JavaScript and JSP.- System Management : Expertise in patch installation, firmware upgrades, and system troubleshooting.- Analytical Skills : Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical ability.- Communication : Excellent oral and written documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or a related field.- Prior experience in telecom domain support or system engineering roles (ref:hirist.tech)
