Python Developer

Role : Python Developer (4-6+ years)Location: Chennai (Work from Office)Role OverviewWe are looking for a passionate Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable applications, designing robust APIs, and working with relational and NoSQL databases. You will be responsible for developing high-performance backend systems , integrating with front-end applications and external services, and ensuring reliability, security, and scalability in production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development & System Design- Design and build scalable backend applications using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask). - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. - Implement efficient data storage solutions and integrate with relational/NoSQL databases.Database Management & Optimization- Design and optimize database schemas for performance and scalability. - Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or other database technologies. - Ensure data integrity, availability, and robust data handling practices.Deployment & Continuous Improvement- Deploy backend services and APIs; containerize using Docker. - Monitor application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and optimize system health. - Stay updated with backend technologies, cloud services, and best practices.Required Skills & Experience- Proficient in Python and backend frameworks ( FastAPI, Django, Flask ). - Strong experience in RESTful API design and development . - Hands-on experience with relational databases ( PostgreSQL, MySQL ) and NoSQL databases ( MongoDB, Redis ). - Good understanding of scalable backend architectures and system design patterns . - Comfortable with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) .Preferred / Bonus Skills- Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka). - Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached). - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines . - Experience with microservices architecture . - Contributions to open-source projects .About the Company:Matrimony.com Ltd, a Great Place to Work Certified Wed-Tech company listed on the BSE and NSE, is a leader in matchmaking and wedding services.
