Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer with a strong background in

power electronics product design, specializing in electric vehicle (EV) components and related

systems. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating hardware for cutting-edge

EV technologies.

Note: Should be flexible to travel to Tirupati 3-4 days in a month.


Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the hardware design process for components such as onboard chargers, inverters , ECUs etc,

ensuring robust, high-performance solutions.

* Develop and simulate analog, digital, and power circuits, ensuring optimal performance and

reliability.

* Collaborate with layout engineers to develop efficient PCB layouts that meet power and signal

integrity requirements.

* Oversee the prototyping process, conduct functional and performance testing, and validate designs

through simulations and lab measurements.

* Ensure that designs meet regulatory requirements and are compliant with industry standards (e.g.,

ISO, UL, CE). Work with certification bodies to obtain necessary product certifications.

* Work closely with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to integrate hardware designs into

EV systems.

* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and

reports.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in power electronics design, with specific experience in EV

components.

* Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB, PLECS, Altium

Designer).

* Strong understanding of PCB layout design for power electronics.

* Knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and best practices.

* Familiarity with compliance and certification processes for automotive or industrial products
