Experience: 3–5 YearsLocation: Visakhapatnam / HyderabadIndustry: Structural Steel / Construction / EngineeringEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Steel Tekla Modeller with 3–5 years of hands-on expertise in structural and miscellaneous steel detailing. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Tekla Structures and capable of developing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and BOM reports. Knowledge of international standards such as AISC, BS, and IS is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed 3D models of structural and miscellaneous steel components using Tekla Structures.Prepare shop drawings, GA drawings, erection drawings, and assembly drawings.Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and fabrication/erection reports.Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure accuracy and alignment.Ensure compliance with standards: AISC (USA), BS (UK), IS (India), and other relevant codes.Incorporate markups from redlines, RFIs, and design revisions.Identify and resolve model clashes, maintaining model integrity.Maintain proper documentation, version control, and workflow alignment.Collaborate with detailers and checkers to ensure timely project delivery.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong proficiency in Tekla Structures (3D modeling, detailing, reports).Solid understanding of steel connections, fabrication, and erection processes.Familiarity with international detailing standards: AISC, BS, IS.Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Optional: Experience with AutoCAD, RebarCAD, or other drafting tools.Educational QualificationDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.Tekla certification or formal training (preferred but not mandatory).
