Leadership, Accuracy & Compliance Management Drive team performance , with a stringent focus on prioritizingcalculation accuracy and regulatory complianceover speed. Ensure the team meets the complex24-48 hour SLAfor handling tax queries. ProvideSpecialized Coaching: Conduct targeted 1:1 coaching to improve the team's handling of specific, complex tax concepts. This includesKapitalertragsteuer , Loss Pots offsetting, double taxation treaties, and Corporate action tax impacts. Be a good team player with willingness to learn anddrive the new hires(mentorship/onboarding). 2. Advanced Escalation & Resolution Serve as thefinal point of escalationfor the most complex tax-related issues. Resolve critical escalations involvingtax calculation discrepancies ,tax statement validations , andregulatory reporting issues . 3. Operational Oversight & Reporting Data Integrity Oversight : Monitor team adherence to data reconciliation methodologies and processes for cost basis adjustments and transaction reprocessing. Performance Reporting : Analyze team metrics, focusing on quality scores and identifying the root cause of tax calculation errors. Report findings and performance analysis to senior management. Key Skills and Knowledge The Team Leader must possess deep domain expertise and strong communication skills: Deep Tax Knowledge:Must have deep knowledge of theGerman Tax Framework(e.g.,Abgeltungssteuer ,Sparerpauschbetrag ) / European Taxations. Practical Understanding:A practical understanding of tax rules for various capital market instruments is essential. Industry Knowledge:Knowledge of Banking operations & Taxation (European Market preferred). Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Adept at explaining complex numbers and processes . Work Requirements:Should be willing to work in shifts along with the team in customer business time.
