Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Apps Developer to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in developing both Canvas and Model-Driven applications, with a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.

This role requires a strong understanding of business requirements, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, with a focus on both Canvas and Model-Driven Apps.

- Customize and extend Model-Driven Apps using Power Automate, Plugins (C#), and JavaScript for advanced functionality.

- Create visually appealing and responsive user interfaces using Canvas Apps, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices.

- Develop and implement business logic and automate workflows using Power Automate and Dataverse, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.

- Implement custom controls and components to enhance the functionality and usability of Power Apps applications.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and project managers to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

- Provide technical leadership in designing and architecting Power Platform solutions that align with business objectives and technical best practices.

- Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions using Power Platform components, adhering to Microsoft's best practices and guidelines.

- Create and maintain technical design documents, including architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.

- Design and implement seamless integrations between Power Apps and other Microsoft solutions, including Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure services, using standard and custom connectors.

- Develop and manage integrations with third-party services using REST, SOAP, and OData APIs.

- Utilize Azure services such as Azure Functions, API Management, and Logic Apps to extend Power Apps functionality and create robust integration solutions.

- Implement data synchronization and migration strategies between different systems and data sources.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power Apps solutions, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.

- Conduct regular code reviews and performance audits to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.

- Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing new features, addressing bugs, and performing necessary updates and upgrades.

- Ensure adherence to security, governance, and compliance policies across Power Platform solutions, implementing necessary security measures and controls.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, workflows, user guides, and training materials.

- Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to end-users and junior developers, empowering them to effectively use and maintain Power Apps solutions.

- Create and maintain a knowledge base of best practices, troubleshooting guides, and frequently asked questions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 7+ years of professional experience in Power Platform development, with a strong focus on Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

- Deep expertise in Power Automate, Dataverse, and integrations with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, and C# for extending Power Apps functionality and developing custom components.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex business solutions using Power Apps, Power BI, and Dynamics 365.

- Solid understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and methodologies, including Azure DevOps for managing development cycles, source control, and deployment.

- Extensive experience in API integrations using REST, SOAP, and OData services.

- Comprehensive understanding of security models in Power Apps, including role-based access control, field-level security, and data encryption.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI).

- Hands-on experience with Azure Services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure API Management.

- Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines for Power Apps using Azure DevOps.

- Extensive experience with Dataverse, Dynamics 365, or SharePoint integration.

- Experience with testing frameworks for Power Apps.
