About us:

About the role:
We are searching for a Data Research Specialist to join our team at JATO's Global Capability Centre (GCC) in our New Delhi office.
In this role, you will:
- Input and maintain JATO’s proprietary software with the latest automotive data, including pricing, specs, and options for cars and light commercial vehicles.
- Interpret vehicle specifications from official sources according to JATO definitions, and input data against relevant quality standards, following company procedures and guidelines.
- Gather additional automotive data from internal colleagues and external official sources.
- Perform Quality Assurance activities to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, completeness, and consistency, meeting SLA and KPIs.
- Implement corrections and adjustments into the database as guided and required by relevant departments.
- Stay up-to-date and execute ongoing and the latest JATO procedure changes.
What we're looking for:
- Strong desktop research skills combined with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage large amounts of data.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, alongside strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with global teams.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as familiarity with basic data manipulation tasks is key.
- Effective time management, punctuality, and a proactive approach.
- Experience and/or curiosity about automotive trends, markets, specifications, and vehicle technology is preferred.
- A degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
