Job Description :
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Solace Administrator with hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining the Solace messaging platform. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to manage technical documentation and upgrades effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and configure the Solace platform, including object creation such as VPNs, Users, Queues, Topics, and Bridges.
- Perform Solace firmware upgrades and manage appliance upgrades (including serial cable procedures).
- Execute and support Solace Disaster Recovery (DR) testing.
- Monitor and configure high spool, Queues, Topics, and Bridges to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Solace-related issues efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and process manuals for Solace platform implementation and support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for product troubleshooting and enhancement.
- Align system performance and configurations with customer requirements and expectations.
Required Skills :
- Proven hands-on experience in Solace platform setup and administration.
- Solid understanding of Solace components and object management (VPNs, Queues, Topics, Bridges).
- Experience with Solace firmware upgrades and appliance maintenance.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills for Solace and related systems.
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments.
- Experience working closely with vendors for issue resolution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-oriented approach and excellent team collaboration skills.
