Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Power BI and Azure Data Engineering Specialist.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as designing and optimizing data engineering solutions on the Azure platform. A strong understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.

- Utilize DAX to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs within Power BI reports.

- Develop and maintain data models in Power BI to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.

- Work closely with the Azure Data Engineering team to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.

- Leverage Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and other Azure services to build scalable and efficient data solutions.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation activities to support data integration and analytics requirements.

- Troubleshoot issues related to data quality, performance, and reliability within Power BI reports and Azure data solutions.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Power BI, Azure data services, and DAX.

- Provide guidance and support to other team members on Power BI development techniques, DAX functions, and Azure data engineering concepts.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards and reports, including advanced knowledge of DAX.

- Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, etc.

- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database).

- Experience with data integration and ETL tools/frameworks.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, or Looker is beneficial but not required
