We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Architect with expertise in Azure Microservices, Azure Data Platform, Azure Integration Services and Python Development (Django/Flask). The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, leveraging best practices in microservices, data engineering, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure Microservices & Cloud Architecture:

  • Design, implement, and optimize microservices-based architectures using Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), and Container Apps.
  • Architect event-driven, serverless solutions using Azure Event Hub, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
  • Develop scalable APIs, API gateways, and integrations with Logic Apps, APIM, and Azure Functions.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and resilience in distributed microservices architectures.


2. Azure Data Engineering & Analytics:

  • Architect modern data platforms using Azure Data Lake (ADLS), Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Design and implement ETL and real-time data processing pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Stream Analytics.
  • Optimize big data processing workflows with Azure Databricks (Spark), Delta Lake, and Synapse Analytics.
  • Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance across Azure data solutions.


3. Python Development

  • Develop cloud-based applications using Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Implement Python-based data engineering pipelines for ETL, real-time streaming, and analytics.
  • Work with PySpark and Azure Databricks for distributed data processing.


4. Observability, Monitoring & Security:

  • Implement end-to-end monitoring, logging, and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Design and enforce Azure security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (RBAC, Managed Identities, Key Vault).
  • Implement network security models, private endpoints, and Azure Firewall for secure cloud access.


5. DevOps & Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates).
  • Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for scalable cloud deployments.
  • Drive cost optimization, governance, and compliance across Azure workloads.


6. Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud-native architectures.
  • Assess and recommend emerging Azure technologies for continuous innovation.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Azure cloud architecture, microservices, and data engineering with Python.
  • Expertise in Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Event Hub, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and API Management (APIM).
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Data Services, including Azure SQL, Data Lake (ADLS), Cosmos DB, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
  • Strong experience in ETL/ELT data processing with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Databricks, and Stream Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in Python (Django/Flask) and .NET for cloud-native application development.
  • Experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and containerized microservices.
  • Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and security with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Key Vault.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Governance, Cost Optimization, and Azure Well-Architected Framework.


Required Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-400, AZ-500, AZ-204 or AZ-104).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Platform integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, Redis Cache).
  • Understanding of hybrid cloud and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Experience with gRPC, or WebSockets for real-time APIs.
