We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing Power BI solutions, with proficiency in Python, SQL, and optionally AWS/Azure.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and implement Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and translate them into actionable insights using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with the data engineering team to acquire, transform, and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
  • Utilize Python for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks as necessary.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
  • Maintain and optimize existing Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Power BI, Python, SQL, and cloud technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
  • Optional: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for data storage, processing, and deployment of Power BI solutions.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI including data modeling, DAX expressions, and creating interactive visualizations.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and experience with querying relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (optional but preferred).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and convey technical concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Power BI or related technologies.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and UX/UI design principles.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Knowledge in data science concepts and practices is an added advantage.
