Job Description :


To be successful in the role of Digital Engineering Specialist at BT Business Digital, you should possess the following qualifications and skills :

- You should have a proven track record leading the technical teams, ideally with exposure to digital customer service platforms.

- We value hands-on experience in coding and implementing digital solutions.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.

- Excellent knowledge of leveraging TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS technology to deliver end to end web applications.

- Excellent knowledge of leveraging at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, to deliver cloud-native applications is highly desired. Experience with other cloud platforms is also valuable.

- Familiarity with Dynatrace or other monitoring and observability tools.

- Familiarity with BFF (Backend for Frontend) and Micro-Service Architecture.

- Familiarity with building reusable features as capability

- Familiarity with CI-CD Pipelines, Agile Methodologies and Jira as a project management tool

- Excellent people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Guides partnerships with business and operational stakeholders to conduct business and

technical discovery.

- While not mandatory, knowledge of the telco domain is a bonus as it will help you better understand our industry-specific challenges and requirements.
