Human Resources Specialist


Job Description:


- Preferably an MBA in HR, with total experience with atleast 3-4+ years as HR Head position of a Medium size mineral processing / Foundry/Engineering/ Automotive/ Machine tools/ Steel or Rolling Mill or any labour intensive manufacturing company or pharma products/chemicals manufacturing company.

- Experience required in HR policy implementation, documentation, performance management, employee motivation activities, contract labour management.

- Ability to manage multi-location HR issues.

- Also need to supervise the HR/IR / Admin teams at the plant locations.

- Good understanding of Labour laws required.

- Strong communication skills required.

- What's important is that the person should have atleast one experience of setting-up the HR department.

- Should be a person who can take initiative to change, start or transform, people and their management.

- Job involves travel to plant locations (Hyd & Nasirabad) - initially a week at each location for the next 3 months to understand the business and the HR requirements, and then 1-2 days every month at each location.

The role requirements are (though not limited to):

- Recruitment for the operations Depts across all locations of the company and implementation of HR policies & procedures.

- Strategizing large scale recruitments at plant locations eg quality managers, maintenance managers, stores Incharge, IR incharge etc at plants and corporate office.

- Working to implement a standardized job grading and comp & ben structure for the company, including redesigning the incentive plans.

- Cost and quality management of the Admin function - incl canteens, transportation, labour accommodation, guest houses/chummeries etc.

- Employee engagement activities.

- Implementing the T&D plan and calendar for all locations.

- Conducting companywide town-halls & information sessions.

- Assessing and selection of ERP companies for implementation of HR automation.

- Board communication and reporting.
