As an Infrastructure Network Engineer L2 the primary responsibilities are to provide Infrastructure support for Network Management services with expert level knowledge. This role will also include responsibilities like Level 2 escalations handling, vendor management, and interaction with Network Tower Lead/Client as well as with other support teams to ensure successful operations of the Physical Network Infrastructure. knowledge and experience on Network stack (H/W, OS, storage, backup) for streamlining current deployment and to get maximum output from infrastructure deployed in existing environment.

Deliverables

  1. Major Challenges : Good knowledge on Cisco ACI Infra, Cisco Routing and Switching, F5 Load Balancers and WAN Links.
  2. Good knowledge on WAN Technologies.
  3. Network Security technologies exposure and hands on major OEM Like Cisco, F5 and Palo Alto
  4. Ensure health hygiene wrt Firmware upgrade, Security hardening, Policies.
  5. Good knowledge on troubleshooting day to day operational issues in Network Domain.
  6. Good knowledge around backup of Infra and troubleshooting on Network outages.
  7. Working and updating Ticketing tools along with monitoring the Infra with Network Monitoring tools.


Requirements

  • At least 7+ years’ experience in supporting Network Infrastructure and/or Operations
  • Hands on experience in design, build and manage Network Infrastructures.
  • Expert level experience with deployment, maintenance and operations of Cisco, Fortigate, F5 and Palo Alto Devices For example: For example: Cisco- ACI ,Nexus switches and Router.
  • Good Knowledge of ITIL, framework good exposure of Service management.
  • Experience on designing network, routing and switching administration, including interface configuration, routing protocols, network workflow, ACLs, security requirements and establishing network specifications.
  • Must have through knowledge of Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and ability to independently analyze, configure and troubleshoot network connectivity.
  • Good experience with deployment, maintenance and operations of Cisco, Juniper, HP, F5 Devices. Data, Load balancers, WAF, Firewall and wireless technologies.
  • Experience in the documentation and design of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Must have worked in NOC.
  • Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Work in shifts and provides after-hour and weekend on call support when required.
