Responsibilities:

oOversee and supervise the completion of state tax compliance and consulting projects for C Corporations.

oConduct thorough reviews of information provided on state income tax returns, both before, during, and after preparation.

oCoordinate effectively with the RSM US tax compliance team and the client.

oProvide supervision, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for staff members.

oTake charge of the detailed review of estimated payments, extensions, and related filings.

oConduct research and analysis on state tax law, rules, regulations, case law, and legislation, and assess their impact on compliance and reporting processes.

oManage resource allocation, project workflow, and budgets for optimal efficiency.

oFoster an environment of trust within the team by effectively supervising team members.

oCoach and develop staff members, offering timely and constructive written and verbal feedback.

Qualification : 

·Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (preferably B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance) from an accredited college/university

·4 Years to 5 years of experience in US State and Local taxes Corporate tax returns

·Familiarity with researching state tax laws and regulations

·Strong communication and writing skills

US tax compliance experience/background required
