Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Linux middleware programmer with extensive experience in working with On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) devices. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining middleware software solutions for Linux-based platforms, with a focus on integrating and interfacing with OBD Design, develop, and maintain middleware software components for Linux-based systems.

- Implement communication protocols and drivers to interface with OBD devices.

- Collaborate with hardware engineers and other software developers to ensure seamless integration of OBD functionality into our products.

- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of software and hardware issues related to OBD integration.

- Optimize system performance and resource utilization for OBD-related functionalities.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in OBD technology to continuously improve our Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Proficiency in Linux system programming and development, including experience with kernel-level programming.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols and communication interfaces.

- Experience working with OBD-II standards and protocols.

- Familiarity with CAN bus communication and diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Previous experience in automotive or embedded systems development.

- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux distributions.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for automotive systems.

- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
