Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with hands-on knowledge of robotics to design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for advanced robotics applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing mechanical frameworks, working with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the entire product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for robotics applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with other robotic subsystems, including electronics and firmware.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses (thermal, structural, and vibration) to verify the performance and reliability of mechanical designs.
  • Participate in testing and validation of mechanical systems for robotic platforms.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics and related technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with experience in the robotics sector.
  • Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation tools.
  • Experience with robotics systems, including structural frameworks, thermal management, and actuators.
  • Knowledge of standards and regulations related to robotics, such as ISO 10218 or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on hands-on experience in mechanical design for robotics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in designing robotic arms, manipulators, or mobile robotics platforms.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for both design and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping environments and testing mechanical systems for real-world applications.
