We are looking for an experienced Unlicensed Band Radio (UBR) System Architect with 12-15 years of hands-on experience in development of point-to-point (P2P) and point-to-multipoint (P2mP) radios in unlicensed band, with a deep understanding of radio communication technology, interference handling in unlicensed band spectrum, network management systems, hardware and software. This role requires a strategic thinker who can design UBRs to meet customer current requirements and envisage future product trends and accordingly design the products.

Key Responsibilities

Shall be responsible to:

1.

Lead the design and development of P2P and P2mP UBR systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

2.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.

3.

Define the architecture of the products, select the final design approach and choose various technologies to be used after evaluating various options available, finally take a decision of overall software and hardware design.

4.

Based on the final architecture, develop and maintain UBR hardware and software architecture documentation, including design diagrams, technical specifications, and deployment guides.

5.

Conduct thorough testing and validation of P2P and P2mP systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

6.

Architect the right antenna systems for various types of deployments.

7.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

8.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in UBR technology and integrate relevant innovations into our products.

9.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex UBR deployment and other technical and architectural issues in a timely manner.

10.

Engage with PLM and Sales teams to understand customer needs and provide expert advice on UBR solutions.
