Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Engineer to install, maintain, repair, and modernize lifts, elevators, and escalators in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems and a strong understanding of safety protocols and industry standards.Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, service, and repair lifts/elevators and escalators as per manufacturer specifications and safety standards. - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults. - Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing. - Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and ensure timely resolution. - Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and statutory requirements. - Complete service reports, job cards, and maintenance records accurately. - Collaborate with other engineers and support teams when necessary. - Provide recommendations for system improvements and upgrades. - Attend training sessions to stay updated on the latest technologies and safety standards.Requirements:Education & Certification:- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent. - Valid Lift/Elevator Technician certification (where applicable). - Health & Safety certifications (e.g., CSCS, IPAF, PASMA) are a plus.Experience:- 2+ years of experience in lift/elevator installation, maintenance, or repair. - Experience working with various lift types (hydraulic, traction, MRL, etc.).Skills:- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
