Role Overview :


As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our platform. Your expertise will drive the development and execution of automated test scripts, focusing on both UI and API layers, to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Appium, and RestAssured.

- API Testing : Automate and validate REST API scenarios, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

- CI/CD Integration : Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions to facilitate continuous testing.

- Test Strategy Formulation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.

- Performance Testing : Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter to assess system scalability and responsiveness.

- Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.

- Automation Tools : Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, or similar tools for UI and API testing.

- CI/CD Tools : Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools for integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- API Testing : Strong knowledge of REST API testing methodologies and tools like Postman.

- Performance Testing : Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.

- Version Control : Proficiency in Git for source code management.

- Test Management : Experience with test management tools like Jira and TestRail.

- Database Skills : Strong SQL skills for database validation and data-driven testing.

- Agile Methodology : Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
