Job Description – Generative AI Engineer

Location: Hyderabad, India

Experience: 5–8 years

Job Type: Full-time


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Generative AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions using LLMs and GenAI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and hands-on experience with generative models (text, code, vision, or multimodal). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance GenAI solutions that drive business transformation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) and generative AI models for enterprise use cases.
  • Implement prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and fine-tuning approaches for domain-specific tasks.
  • Build scalable APIs and microservices to integrate AI models into products and platforms.
  • Work with large datasets to preprocess, clean, and optimize for training and inference.
  • Evaluate model performance and optimize for latency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, data engineering, and DevOps teams to deploy AI solutions in production.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in GenAI, multimodal models, and MLOps practices.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices, including bias detection, data privacy, and compliance.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / MS in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5–8 years in AI/ML development, with at least 2–3 years in NLP / LLM / GenAI.
  • Strong knowledge of Python and frameworks like PyTorch / TensorFlow .
  • Hands-on experience with transformer models (GPT, LLaMA, BERT, etc.) and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate).
  • Experience in fine-tuning LLMs, embeddings, and RAG pipelines .
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, MLFlow, Kubeflow, or Vertex AI).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into AI solutions.


Good to Have

  • Experience with multimodal models (text + image / audio).
  • Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face ecosystem .
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning (RLHF) .
  • Prior experience in renewable energy, utilities, or industrial AI domains.
