This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in managing IBM Infosphere DataStage environments and a passion for optimizing enterprise data workflows. Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain IBM Infosphere DataStage environments using Designer, Director, and Administrator toolsMonitor, schedule, and troubleshoot ETL jobs and job sequencesPerform performance tuning and resource optimization for large-scale data processingManage user roles, access controls, and security configurationsHandle backup, recovery, and migration of DataStage projects and metadataCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams for deployments and upgradesMaintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesEnsure compliance with data governance and security standards Required Skills & Qualifications5.8–9 years of hands-on experience in DataStage administrationStrong proficiency in UNIX/Linux systems and shell scriptingSolid understanding of database technologies (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)Experience with job performance tuning and error resolutionFamiliarity with version control tools (Git, SVN)Excellent analytical and communication skillsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field🌟 Preferred SkillsExperience with IBM Information Server suite (Quality Stage, Metadata Workbench)Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
