This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing backend components, integrating AEM with external systems, and ensuring smooth content delivery.Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Develop custom AEM components, templates, and services usingJava/J2EE ,OSGi ,Apache Sling , andJCR . Implement workflows, schedulers, and event listeners for AEM. Integration: Integrate AEM with third-party systems (CRM, ERP, eCommerce) usingRESTful APIs Configure and optimizeDispatcherfor caching and load balancing. Performance & Security: Optimize AEM instances for performance and scalability. Implement secure coding practices and manage user permissions. Build & Deployment: UseMaven ,Jenkins , and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments. Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, architects, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Required Skills Strong experience inJava/J2EE ,OSGi ,Apache Sling ,JCR , andCRX . Hands-on experience withAEM 6.xor higher. Knowledge ofRESTful services , and integration patterns. Familiarity withMaven ,Git ,Jenkins , and CI/CD tools. Understanding ofDispatcher configuration , caching strategies, and performance tuning. Nice-to-Have Experience withAEM Cloud Service . Knowledge ofAdobe Target ,Analytics , or other Adobe Marketing Cloud tools. Familiarity withWCAG accessibility standardsand SEO best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in AEM backend development. Adobe AEM Developer certification is a plus.
