We at Matter are looking for Lead Android Developer.

Location : Ahmedabad/Pune

Experience : 6-9 years

Primary Skills : Java, Kotlin, cross platform experience(Flutter or react native)

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Collaborating with the functional team to understand and define app specifications.
  • Take Part in Effort Estimations and feasibility Check for any new requirements.
  • Writing efficient, clean, and maintainable code using programming languages like Java or Kotlin.
  • Integrating APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth app performance.
  • Implementing user interfaces that align with design guidelines.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the Android ecosystem.
  • Build Upload for DEV, QA, and Production Environments
  • Working Closely with the QA team as well as product owners.
  • Comfortable in field test along with vehicle and cross functional devices.
Skills Required :
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  • Work with a highly modularized codebase, largely written in Primary Kotlin for Build features within an MVVM stack, using Jetpack components, a database-backed model (RoomDB), consuming.
  • RESTful APIs (with Retrofit & OkHttp) and integrating with third-party SDKs.
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in Bluetooth connectivity.
  • Expert in application debugging, Unit testing and bug fixing.
  • Experience with RxJava, Dagger, Retrofit, and other common Android libraries.
  • Understanding of UX/UI designs and mobile prototypes must.
  • Relevant working experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a big plus.
  • Good to knowledge about Flutter,Swift.
