Horticultural Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement planting plans for gardens.
• Select appropriate plants for specific environments and purposes.
• Monitor plant health and address issues such as pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.
• Conduct soil tests and amend soil as needed to promote healthy plant growth.
• Maintain records of plant care.
• Collaborate with landscape architects, designers, and clients to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate clients and the community about horticultural practices and sustainability.
• Manage irrigation systems and ensure efficient water usage.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, botany, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in horticulture.
• Strong knowledge of plant species, soil types, and pest management techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Familiarity with landscape design software is a plus.
• Knowledge of Orchid flower would be beneficial
