Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, implement, and optimize database solutions in PostgreSQL and MySQL environments.

- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

- Write and maintain Linux Shell scripts for automation, system administration, and database management tasks.

- Ensure high-performance and reliable database environments by working closely with systems administrators and other team members.

- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement data models and ensure proper data flow.

- Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving any issues as needed.

- Manage database backups, restore, and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place.

- Provide troubleshooting support and resolve issues related to databases and scripts.

- Perform database upgrades and patching activities as needed.

- Work with team members to handle database migrations and Requirements :

- Proven experience in database development using PostgreSQL (PL/PgSQL) and MySQL.

- Strong knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting to automate processes.

- Experience in creating complex database queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.

- Proficiency in database administration, including backups, restores, replication, and disaster recovery.

- Strong understanding of database security and data integrity best practices.

- Ability to work independently and handle various database-related tasks in a dynamic environment.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional Skills :

- Experience with cloud-based databases and systems.

- Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker for database container management.
