Position Overview: The Manager AI will be responsible for leading and managing a team of AI developers, data scientists, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Primary Skills: Team Management, Project Management, Agentic AI, Gen AI, LLMs, NLP, AI/ML, Data Science, AWS/GCP, API Deployment for SAASRoles & Responsibilities:Team Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of Agentic AI/AI/ML professionals.- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.- Set clear goals and expectations, and monitor team performanceAI Strategy- Collaborate with senior management to define the company's AI strategy and roadmap.- Identify opportunities for AI integration and expansion across various products & services.Project Plan, prioritize, and oversee the execution of Agentic AI / Gen_AI / AI / ML projects from conception to completion.- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.- Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.Technical Expertise- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Agentic AI /Gen AI/ AI and Machine learning.- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team.- Participate in hands-on development and problem-solving when Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into software products.- Foster collaboration and communication between AI and software development teams.Quality Assurance- Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI models and algorithms.- Implement best practices for testing and validation of AI systems.Resource Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation and staffing.- Recruit, train, and develop AI team members.Documentation and Reporting- Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation.- Provide regular reports and updates to senior Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred) with minimum 10 years experience.- Proven experience in AI development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.- Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).- Excellent project management and organizational skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Effective communication and teamwork skills.- Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is a plus.- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment of AI models is a plus (ref:iimjobs.com)
