About the RoleGeneral Agents is building advanced AI systems for engineering, design, and product development. To support our growing India team, we’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who can lead hiring across mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, simulation, CAD/CAE, and related domains. You’ll help us find exceptional engineers who can push the boundaries of autonomous design and engineering intelligence.What You’ll DoOwn full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across India.Build pipelines for mechanical, electrical, simulation, CAD/CAE, and hardware-adjacent talent.Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements and hiring plans.Run sourcing strategies, outreach, screening, and candidate experience.Maintain a high talent bar while ensuring fairness, clarity, and strong communication.Represent General Agents authentically to candidates and the engineering community.What We’re Looking For5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally with engineering-heavy roles.Comfortable evaluating candidates across mechanical, electrical, CAD/CAE, hardware, or adjacent domains.Strong sourcing skills and an eye for non-traditional or high-potential talent.Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.Experience in working with fast paced startups is a plusWhy Join UsHelp build a world-class India team shaping the future of AI for engineering.Work closely with experts across AI, CAD/CAE, design, and product development.Make a major impact in a fast-moving, ambitious research lab.How to ApplyShare your resume and a short note about your recruiting experience to hiring@generalagents.com.
