About The Role:
Payroll processing / management is one of the most important elements of an organization's HR tech stack. While Darwinbox has native payroll application for South Asia, South-east Asia, and Middle East; for our growth markets like the United States, we take an integrated approach for managing payroll. This entails seamlessly integrating with best-in-class third-party payroll applications and providing a unified experience to the customers across the two systems. Darwinbox is looking for a domain expert with experience and deep understanding of US payroll processes and systems. This individual will be fully responsible for driving all the initiatives related to US payroll and ensure delivery of outcomes.
3 key areas of responsibilities:
- Managing existing partners – ▪ Scope out, design, and document the integration between partners and Darwinbox
- Track development and delivery of integration between partners and Darwinbox
- Test and propose incremental improvements in the integration between partners and Darwinbox
- Manage communications and relationship with partners
- Develop (and document) a deep understanding of partner products to the extent possible / relevant Discovering, assessing, and onboarding new partners –
- Proactively provide recommendations on new payroll partners in line with the business requirements
- Reactively scope out integrations with existing payroll platforms of customers, as they come up during engagements
- Onboard new partners that may come out recommendations or customer engagements Subject matter expert –
- Assist the Sales and Solutions team during evaluations, for e.g., with RFP responses, and providing solutions during meetings
- Advise Product team on development to be done on Darwinbox for seamless co-existence with third-party payroll platforms
- Provide Integrations team the design of integration and take lead on testing post-development
- Assist Customer Success team with any questions or concerns raised by customers on an ongoing basis.
- Create documentation (for e.g., presentations, design docs, videos) reg.
- US payroll integrations that may be needed by internal as well as external stakeholders
5 qualities we are looking for:
- 5-10 years of experience with US payroll as a practitioner or platform / solutions expert
- Experience with / exposure to integrations between HRMS and payroll platforms
- Experience leading new projects / initiatives in the domain
- Strong stakeholder and project management skills
- Strong documentation skill
